There are two iconic views of Boston: one is from the harbor and the other is this view, looking from Cambridge, across the Charles River and the Longfellow Bridget to the Back Bay skyline. However, few people get to see the skyline from this vantage point. (It helps to have friends in high places!)
I liked how the becalmed river mirrored the lights from the Longfellow Bridge and the buildings.
